We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our sales organization. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise, clinical background and strong interpersonal skills to support the sales process by demonstrating the value of our software solutions to potential clients. You will collaborate closely with sales execs to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that drive revenue growth.

Primary responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support: collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of eChart (and related products).
- Demo Environments Maintenance: maintain demo environments and prepare custom demonstrations for prospects and clients.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our software solutions, industry trends, clinical developments and competitive landscape to effectively address customer inquiries and objections.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with product management and development teams to relay customer feedback and influence future product enhancements.
- Sales methodology: learn and follow HST’s sales methodology including best practices for technical demonstrations.
- Training and Enablement: provide training and support to the sales team on technical aspects of the product and assist in onboarding new team members.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering, technical implementations or product (in a SaaS environment)
- Demonstrated ability to demo complex solutions to multiple stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (and on short notice) and balance an uneven workload (e.g., quantity of work varies from week to week)
- Nursing degree
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting
